JT Generalinėje asamblėjoje atėmė balso teisę
JT Generalinėje asamblėjoje iš Irano ir Centrinės Afrikos Respublikos atimta teisė balsuoti dėl to, kad per pastaruosius dvejus metus nemokėjo įmokų į organizacijos biudžetą.
Tai sakoma JT generalinio sekretoriaus Antonio Guterreso laiške 75-osios JT Generalinės Asamblėjos sesijos pirmininkui Volkanui Bozkyrui.
Įprastai įmokos nustatomos šalies vidutiniu BVP per dešimties metų laikotarpį, atsižvelgiant į pajamas vienam gyventojui ir užsienio skolą.
Taigi, Iranas turi sumokėti 16 251 298 USD, kai CAR – 29 395 USD.
Remiantis esama informacija, tik penkios JT valstybės narės Iranas, CAR, Komorų Salos, Somalis bei San Tomė ir Prinsipė (salų valstybė Centrinėje Afrikoje) turi įmokų įsiskolinimų
.Be to, remiantis laiško tekstu, visos jos, išskyrus Iraną ir Centrinės Afrikos Respubliką, išsaugo savo balsavimo teises iki 75-osios GA sesijos pabaigos.
Kaip nurodoma, JT nariui atimama teisė balsuoti Generalinėje asamblėjoje, jei jo įsiskolinimų suma yra lygi arba didesnė už jo mokėtinų įnašų sumą per praėjusius dvejus metus.

Лишили права голоса в Генассамблее ООН
Иран и Центрально-Африканская Республика лишены права голоса в Генассамблее ООН из-за неуплаты взносов в бюджет организации за последние два года.
Об этом говорится в письме, направленное генсеком ООН Антониу Гутерришем председателю 75-й сессии Генассамблеи ООН Волкану Бозкыру.
Обычно размер взносов устанавливается по среднему показателю ВВП страны за десятилетний период с учетом дохода на душу населения и внешней задолженности.
Таким образом, Ирану необходимо внести 16 251 298 долларов, тогда как ЦАР — 29 395 долларов.
По имеющейся информации, всего пять государств-членов ООН имеют задолженность по взносам Иран, ЦАР, Коморские Острова, Сомали, а также Сан-Томе и Принсипи (островное государство в Центральной Африке).
При этом, согласно тексту письма, все они, кроме Ирана и ЦАР, сохраняют право голоса до конца 75-й сессии ГА.
Как указано, член ООН лишается права голоса в Генассамблеи, если сумма его задолженности равняется или превышает сумму взносов, причитающихся с него за два полных предыдущих года.

Deprived of voting rights in the UN General Assembly
Iran and the Central African Republic have been denied the right to vote in the UN General Assembly due to non-payment of contributions to the organization’s budget over the past two years.
This is stated in a letter sent by UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres to the chairman of the 75th session of the UN General Assembly Volkan Bozkyr.
Typically, contributions are based on a country’s average GDP over a ten-year period, taking into account per capita income and external debt.
Thus, Iran needs to contribute $ 16,251,298, while the CAR – $ 29,395.
According to available information, only five UN member states are in arrears in contributions from Iran, CAR, Comoros, Somalia, and Sao Tome and Principe (an island state in Central Africa).
At the same time, according to the text of the letter, all of them, except for Iran and the Central African Republic, retain their voting rights until the end of the 75th session of the GA.
As indicated, a UN member is deprived of the right to vote in the General Assembly if the amount of his arrears equals or exceeds the amount of contributions due from him for the previous two full years.
