Bidenas nusprendė kandidatuoti antrai kadencijai, bet neskuba viešai paskelbti sprendimo, praneša NBC naujienos, besiremdamos prezidento artimiausia aplinka.
Bideno neskubėjimas šiuo atveju paaiškinamas ir tuo, kad buvęs prezidentas D. Trumpas dabar atsidūrė dėmesio centre, ir tuo, kad dėl kitų metų biudžeto išlaidų gresia didelis susirėmimas su Kongreso respublikonais.
Bideno aplinkoje taip pat teigiama, jog delsimas leidžia jam, jeigu kas nors atsitiks, „išlaikyti galimybę“nekandidatuoti.
Tai nurodo tas faktas, jog jis prieš aštuonerius metus paskelbė apie savo ketinimą balotiruotis, o vėliau atsisakė, ir tai, kad kalbėdamas apie ketinimą kandidatuoti 2024 m. užsimena „gerbiąs likimą“, paminėdamas, kad asmeninio ar politinio pobūdžio aplinkybės gali tam turėti įtakos.

Байден принял решение баллотироваться на второй срок, но пока не спешит объявлять о решении публично, сообщает NBC news со ссылкой на ближайшее окружение президента.
Неспешность Байдена в этом случае объясняется как тем, что сейчас в центре внимания экс-президент Трамп, так и тем, что надвигается крупное столкновение с республиканцами в Конгрессе по поводу расходов в бюджете на следующий год.
Также в окружении Байдена говорят, что задержка позволяет ему «сохранить возможность» в случае чего не баллотироваться.
На это указывает как тот факт, что он восемь лет назад заявлял о намерении баллотироваться, а позже отказывался, так и то, что говоря о намерении баллотироваться в 2024-м он допускает оговорки насчет того, что «уважает судьбу», намекая на то, что реальные обстоятельства личного или политического характера могут повлиять на это.

Biden has decided to run for a second term, but is in no hurry to announce the decision publicly, NBC news reports, citing the president’s inner circle.
Biden’s slowness in this case is explained both by the fact that ex-President Trump is now in the spotlight, and by the fact that a major clash with Republicans in Congress is looming over next year’s budget spending.
Biden’s inner circle also say that the delay allows him to „keep the opportunity“ in which case not to run.
This is indicated both by the fact that he announced his intention to run eight years ago and later refused, and by the fact that, speaking of his intention to run in 2024, he allows reservations that he “respects fate”, hinting that that real circumstances of a personal or political nature may affect it.
